It is our goal at the West Palm Beach church of Christ to worship God properly, as safely as possible. Below is an explanation of what you can expect regarding our assembling during the coronavirus pandemic. We are meeting during all our normally scheduled Bible classes (Sunday 9:30am and Wednesday 7pm) and assembly times (Sunday 10:30am and 6:30pm).

The wearing of masks is optional during services. We encourage anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask to wear one at any time while at the building.

Thorough cleanings are performed each week. Commonly touched areas and objects are disinfected and sanitized. All songs are projected on the screen. Hand sanitizer is provided at the door for use after entering and exiting the building. We also installed REME HALO in-duct air purifiers into the air conditioning units at the church building. What this does is it actively purifies the air, quickly killing airborne and surface bacteria and viruses. It reduces sneeze germs by 99% by the time a sneeze reaches three feet.

On Sunday morning before the 10:30am worship time, individual prepackaged communions cups containing the bread and the fruit of the vine are provided in sanitized ziplock bags in the foyer and the front of the auditorium. Bags are divided into single cups for individuals and double cups for couples and families. At the appropriate time during worship, we will be led in partaking of these emblems as we remember the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. When the Lord’s Supper is complete, please place your used cup back into the ziplock bag and seal it. When the service has concluded, please discard your bag as you exit the building in the appropriate trash bins near the door.

For those who wish to give to the Lord in accordance with 1 Corinthians 16:1-2, a black box is in the foyer near the door where you can deposit your contribution. Online giving is also available through the website and through Zelle and Paypal.

Anyone who feels like they have any symptoms for any sickness, feels like they might be coming down with something, or has been exposed to someone with Covid-19 is asked to stay home out of an abundance of caution and love for each other. We will live stream the Bible class for those who have to stay home for these reasons. We also live stream the sermon on Facebook each morning and evening for those who cannot come out due to sickness or exposure. Please contact us if you need this and we will provide you the appropriate links. We will continue to evaluate and make changes as needed to provide the safest environment we can while we gather to worship the Lord. If you have other questions about our services, feel free to email the church through the contact link on the website.
